In this story arc, Michelle has gained weight after losing a contest where the loser has to eat a big pan of lasagna, but seems to be happy about it. Not only has she been given a rest from her strict diet, but she has been hired as a plus-size teen fashion model, and a place as spokesgirl for the "Weight-Away" campaign, resulting in mass profit.
