McDonald's is the world's largest fast food chain, originating in the United States and serving in 119 countries. It was started by brothers Richard and Maurice McDonald as a single restaurant in 1940. After being joined by Ray Kroc, the business expanded over time. It serves a variety of food to satisfy different tastes and is also known for it's mascot, the clown Ronald McDonald.
