Little Bear is a Canadian animated edutainment series based on the book series of the same name written by Else Holmelund Minarik and illustrated by Maurice Sendak. It was aired on CBC in Canada and Nick Jr. in the US from November 6, 1995 to November 7, 2003. The series follows the daily life of Little Bear (who lives with Mother and Father Bear) and his friends Emily, Owl, Cat, Hen and Duck.
