GeGeGe no Kitarō

GeGeGe no Kitarō is a manga series created by Shigeru Mizuki. It ran in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in the 1960s, and has been adapted to a number of anime shows and live-action films. It is also credited for bringing the folklore of yōkai to more modern generations. The story is about a yōkai boy named Kitarō, the last living member of the Ghost Tribe. He fights for peace between humans and yōkai, taking on malevolent yōkai using his various supernatural abilities.
