Although Mr. Majeika is not supposed to perform magic on earth, Class Three are regularly caught up in magical adventures, and often contend with Majeika's nemesis, Wilhemina Worlock.
Mr Majeika was also very loosely adapted into a TV series which ditches the modern day setting for an old-timey 1950s inspired aesthetic.

Mr Majeika and the Ghost Train
In an attempt to stop Wilhelmina Worlock from trapping Class Three in the weather factory, Mr. Majeika attempts to transform himself into a flea and bite her. Instead, he accidentally recalls the wrong spell, transforming himself into a balloon. Bloated and unable to talk, he cannot undo his mistake, and Wilhelmina forces the children to work in the factory by threatening to pop him if they disobey. Fortunately, Dennis the Dragon reverses the spell, and Mr. Majeika turns back into himself again.
