The show's premise focuses on the titular character telling his grandchildren about the days of his childhood, growing up on a farm in Ireland and having numerous adventures with his friends and family.

Trying to increase his father's milk sales, Piggley, Ferny and Dannan drink a lot of the townsfolk's milk so they would then have to buy more; only they end up bloated as a result.
