A manga adaptation was released in 2018, and an anime adaptation is stated to be in production. The story follows a poor gatekeeper named Fate who was born with the "Gluttony" skill. At first, it seems useless because it only makes him hungry. However, Fate discovers that it allows him to devour the souls of those he kills and gain their power. With this skill, he becomes stronger as a warrior and starts to make his own destiny.
