The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars is a 1998 direct-to-video sequel to The Brave Little Toaster from 1987. Like the first film it is based on a book by Thomas M. Disch. It was followed by The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue, which is chronologically the first sequel. In this film, the appliances' master Rob and wife Chris have a baby named Robbie. When a confrontation with an old hearing aid leads to Robbie being taken to Mars, the appliances travel to the planet to bring him back home.
To convince the Wonderluxe appliances to not destroy Earth, Toaster runs against the Supreme Commander in an election. The campaign starts with the song "Humans", in which Supreme Commander says that humans overeat.
