Rio 2 is a 2014 American computer-animated film produced by Blue Sky Studios and directed by Carlos Saldanha, released in the United States on April 11, 2014.
In this film, which follows the original film Rio from 2011, Blu, Jewel, and their children head to the Amazon after learning there are other spix's macaws there, which were spotted by Linda Gunderson (Blu's former owner) and her husband Tulio. However, illegal loggers plan to stop Linda and Tulio's expedition from disrupting their work while Nigel the cockatoo wants revenge on Blu for defeating him in the first film.

Near the end of the movie, Big Boss, the leader of the loggers, encounters a boa constrictor. He offers it his lollipop, and it swallows him whole.
