Krypto the Superdog is a cartoon series based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Developed by Alan Burnett and Paul Dini in a Hanna-Barbera-esque style, it premiered on Cartoon Network in March 2005 and ended in December 2006 on Kids' WB.
The show follows the adventures of Krypto, Superman's pet, as he spends his time on Earth under the care of 9-year-old Kevin Whitney (as Superman is too busy to take care of him instead), but also saves the world while keeping his double identity a secret from everyone except Kevin.
One of the reoccuring characters is Mammoth Mutt, member of the Dog Star Patrol and based on the late Mammoth Mutt and Mammoth Miss, each of whom only once appeared in two issues of Superboy. Like her earlier incarnations, she possesses the ability to inflate herself at an unlimited size, as well as expand numerous body parts.
