Itadakiman is the seventh installment in the Time Bokan series. It is also the shortest, getting cancelled after 20 episodes. In the year 20XX, there is the Oshaka School for the pure and clearheaded descendants of Priest Sanzo. Three children are tasked by the principal to find missing copper plates to bring honor to the school. The villain trio, who repeatedly tried and failed to enroll, hear this and decide to stop them.

The Dirt Cheap Trio gorge themselves on the Apples of Eden, and, after becoming dehydrated, guzzle from the Pond of Eden; a demonic catfish living in the pond, empowered by one of the puzzle plates, curses them to gain large potbellies (which they retain for most of the episode, no matter how hard they try to lose them), and manipulates them into serving him. After the catfish is defeated, the Trio turn back to normal.
