Ice Age: The Meltdown (also known as Ice Age 2: The Meltdown) is a 2006 computer-animated sequel to the 2002 film Ice Age, directed by Carlos Saldanha and produced by Blue Sky Studios.
It follows the three main characters from the first film, a giant ground sloth named Sid, a Smilodon named Diego and a wooly mammoth named Manny, who believes that he is the last mammoth, as they learn that their valley will be flooded by a massive dam when the ice melts. On the way to a safer place, they come across a female mammoth named Ellie raised by two possums named Crash and Eddie, who could be a chance for Manny to start a family.
During Scrat's first scene he runs out of limbs to stop the leaks so he uses his mouth, causing him to inflate and fly around before dropping thousands of feet.
