Herman the mouse and Katnip the cat are a duo of cartoon characters which starred in a series of animated theatrical cartoon shorts in the 1940's and 1950's produced by Famous Studios and distributed by Paramount. The Herman and Katnip characters were acquired by Harvey Comics in 1958 and the cartoons produced by Famous Studios later aired on television as part of The Harveytoons Show.

Katnip was given a glass of water over and over again but each cup gets bigger. He appears very bloated as he keeps drinking the water
Mouse Trapeze
As Katnip plays some trumpets to release Herman, one trumpet made him inflate by water and he splashed away.
