Bone

Bone is an independently published comic book series, written and illustrated by Jeff Smith, originally serialized in 55 irregularly released issues from 1991 to 2004. 

Tall Tales 

In the section Big Johnson Bone Vs. The Cobble Gobbler, at the start of the story, Bone is seen with a stuffed belly from eating a lot of food as practice for the eating competition at the fair. Then later on after the eating contest, The Cobbler Gobbler, or known as Gertie, is shown with a big belly after the eating contest, which led to her releasing a huge waft of gas.
