Big Windup! is anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name, which ran for 26 episodes starting in April 2007 and ending in the following September. The show's premise focuses on the Nishiura High School baseball team and more primarily the team's new pitcher: Ren Mihashi, a skilled pitcher with very low self-confidence.
