Animal Crackers is an American comic strip running since 1967. It was created by Roger Bollen, who drew it until 1994. Fred Wagner then took over until 2016 when he died. Currently, it is handled by Mike Osbun. It also has an animated series that ran from 1997 to 2000. The strip takes place in a fictional African wildlife preserve called Freeborn, focusing on the animals living there and featuring simple humor.
