Alvin and the Chipmunks is a cartoon series based off of comedy band by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr in 1958. It involved high pitched chipmunks singing various songs named Alvin, Simon and Theodore.The Cartoon ran from 1983 to 1990, with five seasons and 100 episodes. Two seasons aired shortly after, but the name was changed to "The Chipmunks". Finally, an eighth season was released, but was called "The Chipmunks go to the movies".

Merry Christmas, Mr. Carroll (Season 7, Episode 23)

In this "A Christmas Carol" spoof, Alvin is being visited by the Ghost of Christmas Future, who shows Alvin a possible near future in which Alvin eats the whole Christmas dinner and ends up bigger than Theodore. He is so obsessed with getting for Christmas now that he plans to write his Christmas list for next year early so he can have even more presents.

  • "You did a great job, Theodore! You made all my favorites!"

  • Alvin goes around the table and eats everything in a few seconds. Theodore gasps in horror.

  • When he is done, Alvin has stuffed himself and is the size of a beach ball.

    • Fat Alvin belches* "Not a pretty picture, is it?"

  • Alvin in the distant future. When Grandma and Grandpa Seville arrive, Alvin waddles to greet them and then plows into them, injuring them and his brothers and Dave.

  • "All these presents under the tree are mine! MINE!.. Wait a minute, when did the doctors say you will recover?"

  • "3 to 4 months? Excellent! Expect to get my Christmas list by may 1st!"

  • Alvin starts jumping up and down cheering "Me! Me! ME!", which causes the house to shake until it is demolished.
