A Bug’s Life is an American computer animated film created and produced by Pixar Animation Studios that released theatrically in November 1998. The film’s premise focuses on an ant colony under the oppression of rogue-like grasshoppers that force the ants to harvest food for them. An eccentric ant named Flik then goes on a journey to seek stronger bugs to help overthrow the grasshoppers' tyrannical rule. But instead of finding warriors, he mistakenly gets circus performers.
While at a bar in the bug city, Flik encounters a mosquito that swells up after drinking a blood-based beverage.
