Ness's Adventure Memoirs (ＭＯＴＨＥＲ２ ギーグの逆襲 ネスの冒険記) is a Japanese exclusive manga series written and illustrated by Benimaru Itoh. It acts as a loose adaptation of Earthbound, following Ness's quest through 13 chapters. Itoh was also a character designer on the game, and was the art director for the cancelled sequel, Earthbound 64.
Chapter 6 - Jeff's Journey
Unlike in the game, where the Balloon Monkey blows a large gum bubble to lift himself and Jeff of the ground, he instead literally inflates himself into a balloon.
