Richie Rich is an American animated TV series produced by Hanna-Barbera based on the Harvey Comics series and character of the same name. The show aired alongside the similarly produced Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, The Little Rascals, Pac-Man, and Mochhichis cartoons on ABC from November 1980 to September 1984.

Each episode of the show featured segments with a specific theme and story structure categorized as follows: “Riches” were stories that focused on dilemmas involving Richie and his family, “Treasure Chest” were episodes that featured members of Richie's staff and/or his dog, Dollar, “Gems” were short gag segments, and “Zillion-Dollar Adventures” were high-stakes adventures involving Richie and his friends fighting villainous threats.

Dollar raids Chef Pierre’s fridge as evident by his expanded stomach. Then after saving Pierre’s watchdog from drowning, the watchdog rewards Dollar by forcing Pierre to pamper him.

After accidentally blowing up a car tire with an air pump, Dollar winds up tangled in the pump’s cord and briefly becomes puffed up with air himself.
